EU-LEADER program EU-Life Program
Since the founding of the nature reserve the administration office, working with development, supports, and partner institutions, have developed many projects to help the nature reserve. Financial support can always be requested for the projects through the development associations.
After the beginning of the nature reserve Rhön, the EU-LEADER program came in use. Other projects were developed through the EU-Life program, added to that there is the FuE funds and many committed Sponsors as well.
Main focuses of the projects are the fields of nature- and species conservation, regional and tourist development, as well as the environmental development. Using the example of the nature reserve Rhön you can notice that innovative pilot projects often become a constant challenge. Today, many projects which were categorized in short terms are still in progress and need decades for success.
